Founding member, Julie Briggs, observed a working model ‘COMPACT' in the suburb of Botany, Sydney, which was based on a model from the United Kingdom; and as there was identified need by business, industry and schools in Wagga Wagga to encourage local career development opportunities, The ‘COMPACT' was established.
