COMPACT are your regional not-for-profit organisation working to create partnerships between schools, business and industry, community groups and parents, families and care-givers to help young people to achieve their true potential.
As Partnership Brokers we do not work directly with young people. We utilise a strategic, whole of community approach in the support of their learning and development. We listen to schools and community groups to identify the needs of young people and match them up with the needs of business, industry and the broader community.
Our objective is to facilitate partnerships that will provide opportunities for our youth to develop their skills, contextualise their learning experience and make a seamless transition into further education or employment.
The School, Business, Community Partnership Broker initiative does not provide service delivery or offer funding; most expenses will need to be met by the partners involved. A focus of the brokering role may be the sourcing of funding or other resources to assist with the establishment of the partnership.
