COMPACT, in partnership with the Riverina Eastern Region Organisation of Councils (REROC), arrange a camp, titled Where On Earth? This camp is held in August and is designed to promote a career that's on the cutting edge. Spatial Data.
At the camp students learn about Global Positioning Systems and Satellite systems, use GPS equipment, learn about Mapping software and create their own map and at the end of it all students can receive a TAFE certificate in Collect Basic GPS Data.
